Back to Business

It's been a long hiatus from our blog but I'm happy to say there is a lot of exciting stuff going on this year and I can't wait to catch you up.   We have been so busy here at LFC creating gorgeous blooms for even more gorgeous brides, collaborating on exciting projects, and helping a few dear friends get hitched as a bridesmaid.  I might as well backtrack to earlier this year and share with you an event we worked on with New England Country Rentals and B.C Tent.  They hosted the amazing See & Be Scene showcase that featured many local vendors' talents and was geared to not just brides, but those within the Wedding Industry as well. The theme of our table was french country modern and I think the lavender, white and green florals were the perfect touch.

Lady's Lace

One of the many perks of being a floral designer is the leftover blooms that I get to enjoy around my house.  I  was delighted to find that this Queen Anne's Lace has been lingering on my dining table for nearly two weeks. I'm happy to have her as long as she stays.

Antique Romance Inspiration Shoot

Earlier this month I had the chance to collaborate with Taslim from Bring to Light Photography to put together an antique inspired styled shoot that was featured today on Ruffled!  I'm lucky to say that not only was she my super talented partner in pulling  this off, but she is also a dear friend! Funnily enough, she happened to grow up in the same small town that I did, but moved away at the age of 10 before our paths had the chance to cross.  Later in life fate brought us together in College, and I truly believe that we were meant to find each other.  The world is funny like that.

We share a similar love for collecting antiques and our inspiration came from that shared love and this beautiful time of year while the warmth of summer fades and the leaves begin to turn.  And so, after lots of brainstorming and elbow grease our antique inspired shoot was born.  Jump over to Ruffled to see the rest of the photo's from this dreamy early Fall session!
