A September Wedding at Moraine Farm

This sneek peak from Stacie Kirkwood Photography has me so excited to see the entire gallery!  I loved that my bride wasn't afraid to choose soft blush florals for a September Wedding.  You don't have to let the season dictate your style, it's OK to just be your self and choose what you love! We used lots of seasonal blooms including Dinner Plate Dahlias, Pee Gee Hydrangea, and Fragrant blooming Mint.  Also in the mix were lush Garden Roses, Astilbe, and Hellebore.

Featured: Style Me Pretty

Its been a little while since I've posted and I'm thrilled to share that a wedding we worked on this past spring was recently featured on Style Me Pretty's Little Black Book Blog. The wedding was designed by the bride herself, held at the New Bedford Whaling Museum and all photo's were captured by Ruth Eileen Photography.  I just loved the preppy Kate Spade inspired florals,  they were the perfect dose of fun for this late spring wedding.

In the Studio: Piano Garden Roses

We created this pretty little arrangement this week using a favorite late summer bloom : the Piano Garden Rose.  I just love its  bright but moody ruby hue, the perfect shade as we leave summer and head to fall.

Snippets from a Summer wedding in Maine

This Past weekend we created some gorgeous blooms for an equally gorgeous couple up in York Harbor Maine.  The bright summery palette accompanied Poppy Red (Maine lobster red!) bridesmaid dresses and a stunning ocean backdrop.  We can't want to see how our couple's photographer captured the day!

House Progress : Kitchen Makeover

It's been a while since I shared any of our renovation progress over here even though we have been quite busy working on the house!   While all new projects are on hold for the summer so we can enjoy living in this amazing area I thought I would share the last real project we completed; our kitchen makeover. Though we did do a bit of the leg work a while back, there were quite a few big ticket details to complete in order to bring the Kitchen in to this century.  We had new butcher block counters installed along with a new antique reproduction sink. My thoughtful Mother in Law scouted us the perfect Kitchen Island to cap everything off. All in all this was an extremely budget friendly face lift, and we are so happy with the results.
