It feels like it has been snowing for eons here. Our little town has been buried in ice and snow and ocean waves for the past few weeks, and its snowing again today. Plus a dash of sleet and freezing rain for good measure. Despite the grumbles I actually do love winter, and there is something magic about a snow day. The blooms that are coming in this time of year at the market are so hopeful. Cheery little daffodils, quince branches, hellebore, and tulips all start to show up reminding us that there ARE other seasons besides winter. I created this arrangement for delivery this past weekend - a masculine spring time arrangement that we know is brightening up someone's snowy week.
