One of my favorite parts of our Apple Picking Porch Party featured on SMP Living last week was of course, the cocktail! It's really seasonally perfect for all of your fall entertaining, and even more so for Thanksgiving which is right around the corner. One of my favorite parts of our family's Thanksgiving get together is when everyone is gathered near the fire before dinner, enjoying canapes and drinks. Somehow a great cocktail always makes it feel a little more special and this one is easy to pull off and sure to impress your guests. For more recipe details head on over to Style Me Pretty Living.
I had the pleasure of creating some fall inspired florals for the last ISES-Rhode Island Meeting which was held at Sakonnet Vineyards in Little Compton, RI. The property is undergoing some exciting new changes and is a must see if you are looking for a breath taking venue for an outdoor vineyard wedding. With the setting in mind we created very seasonal and organic arrangements in vintage milk glass vessels full of rich texture.
I have my sights set on a make over for our studio this Winter (I will spare you the before picture for right now!) and I'm on the hunt for the perfect work station. I came across a real beauty - unfortunately it's no longer for sale, and it comes with a pretty hefty price tag. It's ok though, will definitely be using this as inspiration for some serious antiquing.

I love New England Summers. (I mean it's what makes our long snowy winters worthwhile right?) We have really been enjoying our first Summer living by the sea so when we had family in town recently we just had to take them on a tour of our area. We ended the afternoon with oysters and lobster rolls overlooking the water at a local favorite.
