September Flowers

One of my very best friends got married this past weekend up in the mountains of Vermont and I spent the week up there with her, playing with flowers, sipping bubbly, and breathing in that fresh mountain air. It was a foggy and cold week, but it didn't damper anyone's spirits. In fact it was one of the best, most love filled weddings I have ever been to and felt so lucky to be a part of it all!  Designing florals for this particular wedding was very near and dear to my heart, and the florals we chose were out of this world.

A September Wedding at Moraine Farm

This sneek peak from Stacie Kirkwood Photography has me so excited to see the entire gallery!  I loved that my bride wasn't afraid to choose soft blush florals for a September Wedding.  You don't have to let the season dictate your style, it's OK to just be your self and choose what you love! We used lots of seasonal blooms including Dinner Plate Dahlias, Pee Gee Hydrangea, and Fragrant blooming Mint.  Also in the mix were lush Garden Roses, Astilbe, and Hellebore.

A Poppy Red Wedding

I'm finally getting around to blogging about the florals I created for a wedding last month at the New Seabury Country Club on Cape Cod.  My couple was as sweet as could be and I was lucky to also have been a guest because it was an incredible event! The florals were designed using colors ranging from cream to peach to vivid poppy to complement the bridesmaids striking red dresses.  Don't you just love the color combination?  The gorgeous bride's something borrowed was her grandmother's rosary and you can see a hint of  it wrapped around the stems of her bouquet.  All images were captured by the talented Caitlin of  Photography by Caitlin.
