Cocktail Hour : Apple Autumn Punch

One of my favorite parts of our Apple Picking Porch Party featured on SMP Living last week was of course, the cocktail! It's really seasonally perfect for all of your fall entertaining, and even more so for Thanksgiving which is right around the corner. One of my favorite parts of our family's Thanksgiving get together is when everyone is gathered near the fire before dinner, enjoying canapes and  drinks. Somehow a great cocktail always makes it feel a little more special and this one is easy to pull off and sure to impress your guests.  For more recipe details head on over to Style Me Pretty Living.

Apple Picking Porch Party on SMP Living

It's no secret that I seriously love Fall and lucky for me two of my best girls share the same sentiment.  Last month we had one of those perfect days celebrating Autumn in New England. It was filled with delicious apple treats, gorgeous blooms, and tasty cider cocktails -- what's better than that on a crisp October Day?  I'm so excited to share that this pretty little afternoon I spent with Bring to Light Photography and Domestikated Life  is being featured over on Style Me Pretty Living this morning! So even though its a blustery November day outside check out this Ode to Fall and get inspired because there is plenty of Autumn left to celebrate!  I'm sharing a few of my favorites here but make sure to head over to the feature to see all of the fun! For the Love of Garden Roses.

I love garden roses. Caramel Antike is a favorite of mine - they come out to play quite a bit in my Autumn designs. I couldn't resist shooting these beauties last time I had them in the studio, and wanted to share them on this chilly October Monday.  This weekend seemed to fly by even though it was quiet and relaxing.  Broke out all of my cozy sweaters,  had a really nice dinner out with my husband,  went to the dog wash with Bowser, and  snuck in some proposal writing.  But sometimes that's the best, just catching up on life.

Autumn in Scituate

The fall foliage has been out of control lately, so we did some serious leaf peeping over the weekend.  I grabbed my camera and my husband and I went around town stopping at the most scenic locations as I scouted them from the car.   It's one of the first times in a while we have been able to enjoy the leaf season from our own home and town rather then a pre-planned country getaway and it has been so nice.  Just adding it to the long list of why I love living in this pretty little town.
